HE Deserved It!!

Well I got my fair share of 250 votes in on Tuesday night for Kris Allen. I found it hard to stop myself at 11 pm to go to bed because I was getting through on every call. I was worried the whole night and next day that I didn't vote enough to help make a tid bit of a difference.
Wednesday night was a Great night of performances. Mostly I enjoyed Bikini Girl getting Showed up by Kara, b/c Kara needed that revenge on that snobby girl! I LOVED LOVED the song Kris sang with Kieth Urban! I thought that was really great. And to top it off with the winning of KRIS ALLEN and his so cute little humble self...WHAT A GREAT GUY! (If Simon says it then it really must be true!) I was so stinkin happy that he won last night! He said that Adam deserved it but so does he! His artistry is amazing and he's got a unique and great voice!
Then to end the show with the CHERRY ON TOP, Kris' wife came out and hugged him! As he embraces her with the BIGGEST hug and tears come rolling down his face...That was the perfect Ending! SO SWEET!!
Thanks for all of you who voted for him! Because as I said earlier...HE DESERVED IT!

Monday was a WONDERFUL day outside! So I decided to whip out the pool! I didn't want to wait for the water to warm up for Porter, so I ended up carrying bucketfuls of warm bathtub water out to the pool. It took me about 4 or 5 bucket loads. Anyways then I added a little more water to even the temperature out. So you guys don't really wanna hear about how I filled the pool but more of the events that happened around the pool. Well, Porter LOVED playing with the hose! He just enjoyed being in a big bath tub that was OUTSIDE!Then I had to bring him in for Lunch and nap time. After nap time his friend Brayden came over and swam and pooped in his diaper and got the water dirty. Kenz and I thought that was pretty gross! Luckily I had a swim diaper she could borrow for the second go around!
The two boys played together really well in the pool and it ended up being an enjoyable day outside!

American Idol

How about last nights results show...?!? Now I've been telling myself I wouldn't get too obsessed with American Idol this season, but...It's hard when you really grow to like the singers! From Day one of AI I said it would be Gokey and Lambert at the end. I really wanted Danny to win at the time. Then throughout the season each week Kris has come out and impressed me quite a bit!!
Last night I was totally expecting Kris to go home because most everyone has been saying it's gonna be Danny and Adam at the finish! I was gearing myself up to hear Kris was going home, then they say he's safe and will be competing in the finals and I got sooooo EXCITED! Then I was of course hoping Adam would go home, but we all know that's just wishful thinking and it wasn't going to happen and didn't happen. So now it's up to us all to vote for KRIS next week!! Nobody wants Adam to win!! Yes he's got the vocal talent but come on lets get rid of that ridiculous screaming note he has to put into every song he sings. I think it's getting a little old and routine! Don't you think? And It really made me MAD that Katy Perry came out last night with her cape on that said Adam Lambert on it! #1 Totally unfair and not right at all! #2 she looked ridiculous with her wedgies and all that!
So all in all my opinion VOTE FOR KRIS! Please!

3 years and counting

Patrick and I have been married for 3 years now and life is so great!! We are so happy together and I'm so grateful to have married and fallen in love with such a good man! For our anniversary yesterday we took advantage of the blessing of having a Temple 7 minutes from our house and went and did sealings. Seemed fitting to me. We had a wonderful time in the temple and learned a lot. We told the sealer it was our 3rd anniversary and throughout the session he asked us questions about our wedding day and it brought a lot of memories, feelings, and things I learned that day to remembrance! After the Temple we came home and picked up Porter and went out to eat. I think we have fallen in love with BlueBird. That place is great! Highly recommended to anyone who comes to Logan!

Big Long Mothers Day Weekend

We had a great long mothers day weekend! We decided to start it on Wednesday. We went to Momma C's house and spent some good time with her Thursday and Friday. She watched Porter for us while we went to the temple on thursday night and we helped her with her computer!

This is when we went to the Jordan River Temple for Patrick's Grandpa. It was G-pas first time back in 59 years! What a neat thing it was to see him there! We are so proud of him!
Friday night we went up to spend the rest of the weekend with the Munson family. Saturday was Lacy's Bridal shower and her Bridal pictures! Us girls had a blast being together!

At the shower we had an activity where the brides side of the family decorated a paper doll of JD and the Grooms side of the family decorated a paper doll of Lacy for the top of the cake! The above picture was Lacy's idea of JD and the bottom "Edward Scissor Hands" was the doll Mom, Kelsey and I did! We got the details in there of JD. He loves Mtn. Dew, Golf and the Dallas Cowboys which we threw in the star on the golf ball!

Porter was cold outside and I forgot to bring his jacket so I let him borrow mine! Isn't he Cute?!
These pictures I took while we were getting Lacy's bridals taken! I really want to share some of the pictures of lacy in her dress but that's prolly not cool because her dress is part of the big day and also because if JD takes a look at this his surprise will be ruined! so I figured I'd share some of Kels and then this last one I figured was ok cuz you can't really see her dress! She looked gorgeous tho and I'll share the pictures after the wedding so be patient and come back to see!

Bike Trailer

This is our new Bike trailer!!! WE LOVE IT!! Porter seems to enjoy it a lot too! In the pictures you see it converts to a stroller which is nice, it will fit two kids(no i'm not saying anything) and it has a wonderful cover from the rain and bugs! THANKS TO MY MOM! she bought it for us for our birthdays!
