This month has been fun and eventful! We started it off with a BANG! And I mean that literally... you all have heard the story of Kinley getting hit by a firework and her blanket getting totally ruined. Then a few days later we celebrated the 4th. We joined the Christensen family at Aunt Kathy's house for a bbq after the Kaysville parade. Then came home and lounged for a bit and then met up with Brian and Mindy Taylor family for another bbq at the park got hit by a few sprinklers at the park and then went to look at their horse. Kinley LOVED that! Then went back to their place for fireworks! It was lots of fun even if our kids did get totally scared from the neighbors fireworks. Good thing we didn't go to Weber High for the REAL fireworks! Porter and Kinley both were shaking and crying in fear of another firework hitting one of them.
Then a couple days later we headed on down to Salt Lake to Alex's wedding. We met up with Mom and Dad Munson and ate at TGIFridays. Dad had a drinking race with Kinley. SOO Cute... hopefully the video will work on here. Then went to the reception which was great to be there and see lots of loved ones.
We have also filled much of our time this month with backyard pool swimming and boating. The first trip boating was eventful. Porter was crying I want to go home the entire time and clenching onto any adult he could find close to him. While that adventure was going on both Patrick and I learned how to ski.We both got up and could stay up for about 10 seconds. We did get the kids in the water for about 20 seconds at least. Porter ended strong with a tube ride! Yes he whined most of the way but it was good for him.
We also spent a few days with grandma christensen at her place and went swimming at her big pool with friends and family. It was lots of fun. Porter really got to know his cousins Adie and Phoebe and he grew to love them.
Then the almost last day of the month we spent the night in Morgan with a co-worker of Patricks. Woke up early the next morning to go and see patrick finish is first half marathon. 13.1 miles baby! He finished in his goal time(2 hrs) and did really well! While we were waiting at the finish line for him to round that last corner Porter was able to see LOTS and LOTS of trains pass by. He was so excited to see them. The first one he saw he claimed was Toby and the second was claimed to be Percy! haha After those he stopped naming them.

June 2011
pretty lame month in pictures. We've been busy workin on our house. We have been painting and have finished... just haven't finished hanging things on walls ... so I'll wait to post pictures on those things.
This month Patrick ran the Ragnar and KILLED IT! he did so good! We are so proud of him and that accomplishment!
Then the end of this month I had girls camp. And then the last week of the month Patrick brought home a Fish aquarium that a co-worker of his was getting rid of all of their stuff. Patrick and I have been talking about getting some fish and this was perfect. We got the tank the rocks the chemicals and filters and everything that needs to be in an aquarium from his co-worker for free! All we had to do was go buy the fish. So we bought a bunch of cheap small fish. our only cost= 16 bucks! WOOT! The kids LOVE having fish! And having the running water sound in the front room is so relaxing! It's wonderful!
That's about all that happend this month. We were busy but not much to report on.

May 2011
This month was full of randoms! We were busy and yet had lots of down time as well. Kinda sounds weird, I know! We started this month off learning that our sweet Van's Air Conditioning doesn't work. BLAH! With summer around the bend that's not fun. It would cost us about as much as we paid for the van to get it all fixed. So we are opting to just try and get through the summer by using the car as much as possible.
This month Patrick and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary! WOOT! We didn't do much but it was nice. Dad Munson got us a nice room at a hotel in Salt Lake so we dropped the kids off and followed tradition and went to the temple to do sealings. We almost did an endowment session but then realized that for the past 4 years we have done sealings ON our anniversary so we did sealings! Then we went to Red Lobster for dinner and enjoyed Crab nachos, YUMMM! The next morning we enjoyed sleeping in and on our way back to get the kids we stopped at RCWILLEY clearance center and got ourselves a new headboard for our bed! YIPPEE!! I love it!
Then towards the end of the month we had some good friends of ours the Liebels come and stay with us for an evening. They bought a semi that weekend while they were down here and so we enjoyed the pleasure of getting to sit and ride in it. Patrick was lucky enough to drive it in a church parking lot.
Mothers day was also a fun day! One of the bestest, because....drumroll... our ward gave all the women a cupcake the size of both of my fists together! I looked at Patrick and said...now that's the best gift I've ever gotten for mothers day! All through church I was salavating at the thought of eating all the frosting! MMMM! Also apparently while patrick and I were gone on our little retreat Mom and Lacy got the kids all dressed up and took pictures of the kids done and framed and gave those to us as a Mothers/Fathers day gift! I LOVE IT! I've been wanting good pictures of the kids.
The kids are growing up so fast! They bring so much joy to us! More than the grief they also bring at some points in a given day. haha. They love each other so much too and play well together.
