I've Been Meaning to Post This

This video is a GREAT video that I had to share with everyone. This was taken the night of Patrick's Birthday. We had blown up the air mattress to watch a movie and Porter was having a great time playing on it. Not to mention he definitely entertained us! The video happens pretty quick so make sure that you are paying attention when you hit play.

1st Birthday!!

Happy 1st Birthday to Porter!! Today was a normal day. Porter didn't notice it was a special day. We didn't do much, it was just our small little family for his birthday party! We opened gifts which he got lots of stuff! He got a ball, lawn mower which pops balls up and plays music when it goes as well as real lawn mower sounds when on the right setting. He got clothes(which I just wrapped so he would have more to open), a Hat for the summertime, and all of his daddy's old cars from when he was a little boy. Some of which I put on his cake that I made for him. He loves cars so we decided to do a little car theme for the cake. These pictures below are in order of how it all went down. We of course let him touch the candle and I love the picture that shows the aftermath.

Now there is one thing you need to know about Porter, he is NOT AT ALL a messy boy. It took a while for him to learn that it was ok for him to dig into the cake and that it was something he could eat. I actually had to take his hand and dig it in the cake to break it up. After that he decided to try and feed himself! He got messy, but not as bad as most other kids.

Here is a picture of Dad doing his duty to build the toys and put them together! Well, lets just say luckily Porter was pretty patient and decided that while he was waiting he would entertain himself with the horse.

BIRTHDAY PALOOZA

Well it's CRAZY Birthday Time around here. For Patrick's 26th Birthday we bought a new TV since ours decided to go all wacko on us a couple weeks ago! We bought the TV down at Cost Co when we went to visit my mom and that night Patrick HAD TO pull it out of the box and take a look at it! He was super excited! And since we got a new TV we decided that instead of going to see a movie we'd watch one at our house and get a pizza and have a little family party! We blew up the air mattress and set it up in the living room so we could be comfy and make it seem more like an eventful night! Porter LOVED IT! (I'll post some video) He had such a fun time on trying to walk on the mattress as well as when we bounced him on it! Patrick got me for my birthday those LOVELY flowers you see in the picture and a tanning pass! I haven't been in 2 years and I figured it's a way for me to have an out every once in a while. You know, let daddy take care of porter! Which reminds me! Patrick's birthday was Wednesday and mine was Thursday. Patrick took Thursday off of work and let me sleep in! Which was SOO WONDERFUL! I don't get to sleep in often with the little tike around now a days so I was able to relax and then our neighbor brought us dinner which was really nice because I didn't want to have to make dinner on my birthday! So ALL IN ALL it was a GREAT Birthday week!

Basketball Banquet and Porter stepped on a Napkin and It looks like he's got Toilet Paper on his foot!! Hilarious!
