Our Date with David Archuleta!

My sister is a huge David Archuleta fan! He came home for a few days and was signing autographs at the gateway mall. So we decided we would go and just try to see if we could meet him. Well he was only there for 30 minutes so we definately did not get to get autographs but we were very lucky in our spot in the line cuz his limo drove right by us and as he was leaving he had is head poked out the sunroof of the limo and there were thousands of girls screaming his name and trying to get as close to the limo as possible. We were on the upper balcony and had a great view of the cute adorable David! It was so fun to be there amongst the crowd of screaming women that are all in love with this talented young boy! (he's like 4 years younger than me!haha) He's so cute cuz when he arrived he started to cry and he said that he was so surprised because he only expected to see like 3 people waiting in line to get his autograph! Yet there was a line of thousands of people there to support him. That boy doesn't have a single bone of pride in his body! But he's amazing and it made my sisters day to see him! We were screaming and my sister was shaking cuz she was so excited and my mom-well she cried! It was so hilarious! We had a great time and We got great video and tons of pictures on my sister's camera. so if you wanna see proof- go check out Paige and Stenson's Blog. Also see what the news had to say about it! http://www.sltrib.com/entertainment/ci_9208431

Happy Birthday to Dad!

My Dad... he wore the paper tie that I made him for Fathers Day!

My Dad is such a hunk!

He was also such a cute little boy.
my dad is only 10 months old in this picture.

It was my Dad's birthday today. He would have been 61 years old today! I've been thinking alot about him recently. I don't think I ever realized what a good friend he was of mine. I really could talk to him and tell him what i was truely thinking and feeling. He always looked out for me and wanted me to be happy. I also looked out for him by doing little things. Like, when we would sit down for dinner and everyone was done except him i would stay and keep him company after everyone left the table, or when he really wanted to play a game and we were trying to get the family rounded up to play...he would always be sitting at the table waiting alone patiently for everyone to come, i would go and sit with him and talk until everyone came. Then once I got married Dad did a lot to come around my place. I think this is when our friendship really became a good one! Patrick and I found joy in doing all we could to help dad- like when he needed help moving his parents stuff out of their house or telling him how to work the computer! By doing those things we were able to communicate with dad a lot and enjoyed his company. He did all he could to stop through Ephraim on his way to and from Utah County. He would take us out to lunch or even just stop by to say hi. What I enjoyed the most was when he would come to the games at snow to support patrick and we would sit and watch the game and enjoy being together! He always showed interest in the things I love most! I also miss his quirky moments of saying that he was Terriffic, or saying your a welchman if you don't marry a dutchman, or even the times when we would be watching a movie and a couple would kiss he would shout out " UH- CLOSE YOUR EYES". I miss his stories and telling all my friends hes been around since the earths crust cooled. I miss him telling me to Remember who I am and to Do my Best! I respected him so much for the man he was and how he held the priesthood, how he treated my mother-(oh and his), he loved our country and was so proud to stand and sing the national anthem at events, and his love for music-that i will always carry on.
I could go on and on about my father and what a great man he was but before this gets too long i'll just end it with:
He was such a good man--Everyone loved(s) him so much and he made a difference in everybodys life that he came in contact with. Something he strived for daily!

WE LOVE YOU DAD & MISS YOU SO MUCH!

V-Day Love!

VALENTINES DAY!!
As a tribute to this day of love---I had to put a cute picture up of Patrick and I's first Valentine's day ever! A friend and I sent our two men out on a hunt for their princesses! They were sent to many different places and at each place they recieved a piece of their armor to save us princesses! They found their princesses at the Castle doors tied up(the Manti Temple) and rescued them! Luckily for the princesses their knights had picked up some chinesse food to feed the princesses after being captured for hours these ladies had to have been hungry. On a blanket with some chinese food and sparkling cider on the grass across from the temple took place the romantic dinner. This picture is one of my Knight in his Shinning Armor! I'll always Love him!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! Patrick & I had a Wonderful Christmas! We were able to spend about a week in West Jordan with Patricks Family.  We went to temple square, Deseret Star and saw the Grinch which was hilarious, and we spent lots of time visiting grandparents. We cant forget all the nights of playing games and watching movies! It was a relaxing yet fun filled break!
Patrick got a Nintendo 64 and he was so excited!

Patrick & I opening our gifts from family!
He loved this gift! I had put all of his mission letters in sheet protectors and scrapbooked them. I also did thiswith his weekly reports that he had to write to his mission Pres.
Then I threw in some of his pictures of the mission and his name tagand made him a video of his mission pics to some music.
